February 1, 2021 UPDATED MESSAGE: Habitat for Humanity Lakeside Response to COVID-19
- Our business office is staffed Monday-Friday from 8:30-4:30 but we are seeing guests by appointment only.
- Individual and small group volunteer opportunities are now available in our ReStore and on our construction sites. Call Lee Anne at 920-458-3399 ext. 301 to inquire or ask questions related to volunteering.
- Our home repair program is accepting applications. Our home buyer program application period is closed and will not open again until later in 2021. Call Karina at 920-458-3399 ext. 305 for more information on housing programs.
- Our ReStore is open to the public. Shopping and Donation Drop-Off Hours are Wed-Fri: 11:00-5:00 and Sat: 9:00-4:00. Donation pick-up is back open. Call 920-452-4175 to schedule a FREE pick-up. Customers are required to wear masks or a face shield while in the store. Children unable to wear a mask or face shield must be seated in a shopping cart, stroller, car seat or in your arms at all times. If you don’t have a mask you can purchase one for $1 upon entry to the store.

Giving Tuesday, often stylized as #GivingTuesday for the purposes of hashtag activism, refers to the Tuesday after the U.S. Thanksgiving holiday in the United States. It is a global movement that unleashes the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world.
This year for Giving Tuesday, Habitat for Humanity Lakeside is promoting three ways to give and support our mission which are outlined in the graphic to the right.

We have opportunities to organize and clean our office, ReStore and construction storage areas in our lower level between the hours of 10:00am-4:00pm on December 1, 2020. 6-30-20 ReStore Donation Pick-Up Service Resumes
We are excited to announce that ReStore Donation Pick-Up service has resumed. You may now call us at 920-452-4175 to schedule a con-tactless pick-up. Pick-ups are available Wednesday-Saturday (two per day limit). Your items must be quarantined for 72 hours and located in a garage, shed or outside of your home on your scheduled pick-up day. We will not enter homes at this time. Some popular pick-up items include: furniture, appliances, lawn & garden items, tools, kitchen or bathroom cabinetry, building materials and antiques. 6-12-20 Habitat for Humanity International Hosts Panel Presentation on Housing at the Prescription that we need
Very excited to share this hour-long presentation that Habitat for Humanity International hosted. The presentation focuses on the important ties between home and health, particularly during and after the COVID-19 pandemic. Panelists suggest that housing is the prescription we all need - this includes simple, decent and affordable housing for everyone.
Panelists include:
-Dr. Megan Sandel, associate professor of pediatrics at the Boston University School of Medicine and co-director of the - Grow Clinic at Boston Medical Center.
-Dr. Stephen Klasko, president of Thomas Jefferson University and CEO of Jefferson Health.
-Jonathan Reckford, CEO of Habitat for Humanity International.
-Lisa Gordon, president & CEO of Atlanta Habitat for Humanity.
