Habitat 500 bike ride

Habitat 500 information

Pedal to build a cycle of hope. Now entering its 27th year, the Habitat 500 is a bicycle ride (not a race) and fundraiser that covers up to 500 miles over the course of 6 days. The event is organized by the Minnesota Habitat for Humanity State Support Organization. Each rider who participates is asked to raise funds through family, friends, businesses, church groups and others in their network. Riders then select one or more Habitat for Humanity affiliates to designate the funds they raise to. The 2019 Habitat 500 will take place in northeastern Minnesota, starting in Duluth. Exact bike routes will be announced closer to the event.

Habitat for Humanity Lakeside has had a group of local riders travel to Minnesota and participate in this event for several years now. In 2019, we would like to invite new riders to join our Habitat Lakeside team. Read on to learn more about the event! Reach out to Emily at 920-458-3399 ext. 304 or enuernberg@habitatlakeside.com with any questions.
