Rock the block overview & history

Rock the Block is a neighborhood revitalization event organized by Habitat for Humanity Lakeside and with the support of community partners including the City of Sheboygan, the Sheboygan Fire Department, the Sheboygan Police Department, and the IBEW Local 494. Through Rock the Block, Habitat provides affordable financing for exterior home repairs and community projects in a designated neighborhood. Our community partners assist with additional services such as brush removal, lighting improvements and fire safety checks. Neighbors and volunteers from all walks of life come together to carry out the work.
Rock the Block events have now taken place on Clara Avenue (October 2017), Kuehne Court (June 2018), on South 9th Street between Broadway and Georgia (October 2018), in the End Park and North Railway neighborhoods (September 2019), the Franklin Park (The Flats) neighborhood (September 2021) and the Gateway Neighborhood (September 2022).
