wish  list

Wish List Items
Items on our Wish List support one or all areas of organizational operation including ReStore, Construction, Family Services, Volunteer Services and general operation of our business office. When you purchase an item off of our Wish List, you are allowing us to use more of our other revenue sources towards our housing programs. If you have any questions about our Wish List, please reach out to Emily Fread, our Development Director, at 920-458-3399 ext. 304 or efread@habitatlakeside.com.
Our Top Wish List items right now include:
  • Hand Warmers - any brand: these are used on our construction sites and in our donation drop-off at the ReStore all winter long.
  • Nitrile Gloves Size XL (3mm thickness or greater): we use these disposable gloves every day in our ReStore for cleaning and for accepting donations from residential or business donors. This is our most used and most expensive PPE item and therefore is high on our Wish List. Please Note: we only use Nitrile Size XL in 3mm thickness or greater as the smaller sizes do not fit everyone and other material types or thicknesses either tear/rip or are more prone to causing an allergic reaction.
  • 36" x 24" Magnetic Dry Erase Board: we are looking for a new or gently used magnetic dry erase board with a ledge to hang in our ReStore workroom so our Volunteer Manager and Operations Manager can leave important messages and hang flyers for staff and volunteers.
  • 10x10 Portable Canopy (1-3 needed): we are looking to prepare for summer and would like to add some 10x10 portable canopies (new or gently used) to our inventory for hot or rainy days so volunteers on our new construction, home repair or Rock the Block sites have a place to escape the weather.
  • Top Office Supply Needs: our two greatest office supply needs right now include a case or several reams of white cardstock paper and a box (500 count) of No. 9 envelopes with a double window (size 8 7/8" x 3 7/8")
  • Top IT Needs: Two 24" or 27" LED Flat Screen Computer Monitors (new or less than 3 years old, any brand), Two wireless keyboard/mouse combos (new, any brand).
*Our Top Wish List Items are updated every 1-2 months to ensure our greatest needs are listed and that items that are donated  are removed so we don't receive duplicate purchases. This list was last updated 1-29-21.

Other Wish List Items that we always need include:
  • White Copy Paper: this is used for printing and copying in our office and we go through a lot of it throughout the year. We gladly accept cases (typically 10 reams of 500 sheets) or individual reams with 500 sheets. Any brand is welcome.
  • Amazon Gift Cards: Amazon gift cards are used for purchasing office supplies and PPE supplies that aren't in stock through our local supplier
  • Home Depot, Menards or Lowes Gift Cards: these gift cards are used for purchasing tools or equipment for our Construction sites or ReStore work room
  • Restaurant Gift Cards: due to the pandemic we are not providing lunch or gathering for lunch on our construction sites right now. Instead we are serving individual sack lunches that volunteers can enjoy in their vehicles when we can lunches donated by a source where the lunch can be prepared in a commercial kitchen. As such, we are looking for gift cards to Plymouth and Sheboygan based restaurants to purchase 4-8 lunches for days when they can not be donated.
When you consider purchasing items from our wish list, you can use CapitalOneShopping.com, which is a free tool that helps you compare and find the best prices. You don't have to be a Capital One user in order to use it, either.
How do you get your donation to us?
There are two main ways to get your donation to us - drop off at our business office or by shipping it to us. Please read below for further instruction on both options.

Drop Off at our Business Office
The Habitat for Humanity Lakeside business office is located at 1
911 N 8th St, Sheboygan, WI 53081. This is the same physical address as our ReStore however the business office has a separate entrance. The business office entrance is located on the 8th Street side of the building. There is a vestibule with glass doors where you can ring a doorbell for assistance. We are open for business Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Donations can be dropped off here during these hours. Please note that because of the pandemic, our business office entrance is locked but please ring the doorbell upon your arrival and one of our staff will come and greet you.

Shipping Your Donation
If you prefer you can also ship your donation to us. This may be easier if you want to remain anonymous or if you're purchasing something online. If you ship your donation to us, it should be sent to the following address:
